The Hero's Tail is a promotional cosmetic item for the Scout. It is based on the distinctive hairstyle of Geralt from The Witcher series, featuring a white and gray ponytail with hanging sideburns. The ponytail swings with the player's movements.

This item has two styles, named "Pigmentation Lost" and "Pigmentation Gained". When painted, the "Pigmentation Lost" style colors the roots of the hair, while the "Pigmentation Gained" style colors the entirety of the hair.

This item was awarded in Genuine quality to players who pre-ordered The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings on Steam before May 17, 2011.
