"Yeti Park" is based off of twentieth century film scores, particularly John Williams' score for Raiders of the Lost Ark. As is customary for film scores, techniques of chromaticism, dissonance, and quickly changing timbres are all tailored to the specific events on screen. The track is not consistently set in any key, but most parts of the track are in minor tonalities.
The track begins with a nebulous, dissonant held chord which is interrupted periodically by descending chromatic woodwind lines and swells from bassoons and trombones. These swells are later played by horns and clarinets, and a dissonant crescendo from violins and trumpets leads into a winding flute melody. This melody leads into a massive crescendo with shrill cluster chords, followed by a brief heroic melody played by horns. Another winding melodic interlude is followed by a sudden crescendo of low brass and high violins, which leads into string w:Ostinato:ostinatos and a driving tom-tom rhythm.
In the second half of the track, low brass and woodwinds play low, brassy hits as horns, trumpets, violins, and high woodwinds trade flurries of notes. Finally, after a moment of brief silence, a unison statement from brass, strings, and low woodwinds leads into the final section where low voices continue playing punchy hits punctuated by percussion. High tone clusters return, traded this time between all woodwinds, strings, and brass. This trading eventually leads to a statement by the whole orchestra, led by low brass, ending the piece in D minor.
