La Mise à jour Tough Break est une mise à jour majeure ajoutée lors de la saison Smissmas 2015.
La mise à jour introduit 4 nouvelles collections d'armes, 15 nouveaux objets cosmétiques communautaires, 4 nouvelles cartes communautaires et 3 nouvelles railleries. Elle ajoute également la Tough Break Campaign, une campagne de contrats de trois mois qui permet aux joueurs de compléter 26 défis basés sur la technique pour débloquer des armes one-of-a-kind et des caisses d'armes exclusives ainsi que des objets cosmétiques. Pour participer à la Tough Break Campaign, les joueurs doivent acheter le Tough Break Campaign Pass.
Du contenu additionnel a été ajouté lors du Patch du 22 décembre 2015, introduisant le Gun Mettle and Tough Break Festivizer.
