The Razorback is an unlockable secondary weapon for the Sniper. It is a partially chipped hand-carved tribal shield with red and white paint and a car battery taped to the back. Two wires are shown going from the battery to the shield, held in place with black tape.
When equipped, this weapon grants the player immunity to a single backstab from a Spy. If a backstab is attempted, the Spy will be unable to attack, Cloak, or switch weapons for approximately 2 seconds. The player will be alerted of the failed attack by a very distinct, loud electrical sound, as well as being zoomed out of their scope if they were zoomed in, at which point they can retaliate.
Upon a single backstab, the Razorback will break in half and fall off the player's back. If the Sniper is killed by another player within 5 seconds of his Razorback breaking, the Spy will be given a kill assist. If a Razorback is broken, a new Razorback can be acquired if the player goes to a Resupply locker, respawns, or waits 30 seconds for it to regenerate.
Snipers with the Razorback equipped receive a 100% overheal penalty, so they can not be given overheal from Medics.
The Razorback is automatically given to any player who obtains 17 Sniper achievements.

- The Razorback doesn't appear when inspected from the Backpack menu.
Trivia
- The Razorback resembles a mid-20th Century Queensland Rainforest tribal shield.[1]
- The notable scar on the shield is from the Spy's unsuccessful backstab attempt on the Sniper vs. Spy update page.[2]
- The Razorback was teased in Meet the Spy, its name displayed on a white box depicting a pig, and labeled "urgent".
- A Razorback is a type of wild boar commonly found in Australia that is considered to be vermin due to increasing numbers.
