The Heavy has spared no expense in crafting this historic tribute to the mother land. Forged from Soviet iron and inlaid with the remaindered mahogany from Alexander II's favorite chair, each kill is not only for "pride of team," but for the Republic.
— Official Description

The Iron Curtain is a currently unreleased promotional primary weapon for the Heavy. It appears to be a Minigun made partially out of wood which is supposedly crafted by the Heavy himself. Based on precedence set by the Lugermorph and the Big Kill, two previously released promotional weapons, the Iron Curtain is most likely an alternate model for the Minigun.

It is awarded to players of Poker Night at the Inventory during a special bonus round.[1]

Trivia

  • The Iron Curtain is canonically Heavy's first Minigun before Sasha. Telltale initially revealed that Heavy would wager Sasha in the bonus round.
  • The name of this weapon is a reference to a quote from British Prime Minster Winston Churchill, in which he said the "Iron Curtain" would divide the Soviet Union's territory from the Western Democracies.
  • The Communist Hammer and Sickle emblem is visible on the ammo casing.
  • The side of the minigun appears to have a vent where smoke is extracted.
