The Big Earner is a community-created melee weapon for the Spy. It is a broken Italian stiletto switchblade left permanently unsheathed. Three small bands of blood-stained tape are wrapped near the base of the blade.

Equipping this weapon reduces the max health of the user by 25, lowering their total health to 100 and total overheal to 150 (126 with the Quick-Fix). However, killing an enemy with this weapon, either with a backstab or regular melee attack, fills the Cloak meter by 30% and gains the Disciplinary Action effect for about 3 seconds, regardless of which cloaking device is equipped.

Taunting with the Big Earner equipped results in the Fencing kill taunt. Upon a successful taunt kill, the 30% cloak and speed boost are still awarded.
