— The Pyro while performing Hadouken
|
” |
Upon taunting with any secondary weapon equipped, the Pyro winds his hands back, concentrates, then releases his inner fire energy as the Hadouken. This taunt inflicts severe fire damage to any enemy or building unfortunate enough to be within range. Its wide range of fire is capable of hitting multiple targets at once. An enemy that survives the Hadouken will be ignited.
A Hadouken kill will completely fill the Pyro's "Mmmph" bar if equipped with the Phlogistinator.
The Hadouken ability is the most humilating taunt kill on Team Fortress 2.
As with all Attack taunts, the Hadouken can be used to kill enemy players during Humiliation and Stalemates.

Update history
June 19, 2008 Patch (Pyro Update)
- Hadouken taunt now kills people it hits.
Bugs
- If the target dies from the afterburn of the Hadouken, it will show the Flamethrower's kill icon rather than the Hadouken's kill icon.
Trivia
- The Hadouken's execution is a nod to the signature move of Template:W, the main character of Capcom's Template:W series of games.
- It is also arguable that the taunt may be a nod towards the Kamehameha from the Template:W series, as the execution and number of syllables mumbled when initiating the taunt are similar to that of the anime or manga.
- Because the damage is fire-based, a fire-proof Spy can survive a Hadouken.
