The Battalion's Back-up is a community-made secondary weapon for the Soldier. Released with the Mann-Conomy Update, it appears as a bronze-coloured bugle, and gear featuring a transmitter with a folded map secured by a couple of straps with attached compass mounted on the Soldier's back.
The pack works essentially in reverse to the Buff Banner functionality wise as it features primarily defensive attributes. Once a Soldier has taken 600 damage in a single life, he can blow his bugle to make all nearby teammates immune to Critical damage and have a 35% resistance to damage for 10 seconds.
Damage
None. Rage Meter requires around 200 taken damage to fill.
Function times
- Attack Interval: 10 seconds.
- Trumpeting Time: ~3 seconds
All times are in seconds. Times are approximate and determined by community testing.
