彩灯工具是一种允许玩家在部分武器上附上彩灯作为装饰的一次性工具。
节日化后的武器依然会保留原始属性(例如。奇异Brick House转轮机枪在使用彩灯工具后依然会保留奇异属性)除了普通武器在使用后将会变为独特品质。除了外观上的变化，武器名上也会加上前缀"Festivized（节日化）" ，并在背包图标中出现节日光效，并在武器简介中打上"Festivized（已节日化）"。
最开始，节日工具被叫做Gun Mettle and Tough Break Festivizer，并且只适用于装饰来自不同收藏品的武器。当时只能在Smissmas 2015 Festive Gift，Pyroland和Warbird武器箱中获得，拥有Tough Break Campaign Pass的玩家也可以通过随机掉落获得。这些来源均在2016年12月21日补丁中被取消。
Currently, the only method to obtain a Festivizer is by unboxing the Smissmas 2015 Festive Gift, Unlocked Winter 2016 Cosmetic Case, Winter 2017 Cosmetic Case, or Winter 2018 Cosmetic Case which has a random chance of granting a Festivizer alongside the player's uncrated loot.

- Fixed Festivized items ignoring any other quality for their name (i.e. "Collector's").
- Fixed Festivized Australium weapons not using the correct skins for players on the BLU team.
- Fixed Festivized Holy Mackerels, Soda Poppers, and Wingers not drawing the festive lights for the BLU team.
- Fixed the Steam Community Market icons for several Festivized weapons.
- The Festivizer can be found as a bonus drop when opening the Winter 2018 Cosmetic Case.
Bugs
- Applied Specialized or Professional Killstreak Kit on Festivized items will cause the sheen to appear in the backpack icons.
- If the Festivized item is Decorated quality, and the player dies, the lights use the texture of the weapon rather then using their own texture.
- Sometimes backpack icons for Festivized weapons will be affected by certain console commands that affect lighting such as
mat_phong 0 - Sometimes backpack icons for Festivized weapons are affected by what team the player is on, despite all backpack icons appearing as the RED version, regardless of what team the player is on.
