Upon taunting with the Shotgun or Flare Gun equipped, the Pyro will wind his hands back, concentrating his inner fire energy before releasing it from his palms as a Hadouken (also referred to as a Hadoken), killing and setting fire to any enemy close enough.
With a wide range of fire capable of taking out multiple targets if close enough, this move will destroy enemies and buildings if it connects.
The Hadouken itself is a "tip of the hat" to the neologism from Capcom's classic Street Fighter series.

Trivia
- If the target dies from the afterburn of the Hadouken, it will show the Flamethrower's kill icon, rather than the Hadouken's kill icon.
- Hadouken means "surge fists" and "wave motion fist" in Japanese.
- At the beginning of a round, on a level with setup time (like Gold Rush or Dustbowl), taunting with 0:01 left on the timer will cause the taunt to launch just when the gates open, to get inattentive players.
