I File di Localizzazione (Localization Files) controllano come il testo e i dialoghi sono usati e mostrati in gioco nella lingua scelta dal giocatore. Ciò include tutto, da lle descrizioni degli oggetti ai nomi degli obbiettivi.

Per esempio, l'Ala è conosciuta come il Flügelstürmer in Tedesco.

I file di seguito, contengono il corretto testo delle traduzioni per 27 lingue supportate secondo lo Steam Translation Server (comunemente abbreviato in STS).

Curiosità

Dal 17 Gennaio 2012 al 27 Aprile 2012, Valve ha fatto partire una gag nelle note delle patch con varianti della classica frase "Updated the localization files" tra cui l'uso di una diversa lingua, caratteri unicode, sarcasmo e in codice QR.
