Big Kill
“ | This might look like an ordinary revolver, until you realize that it helps a talking dog solve crimes. How many crimes has YOUR dog solved lately? And let's face it, his revolver kind of sucks too. Man, we want to talk about this gun more, but we can't get over how much your dog sucks.

The Big Kill (Sam's Revolver) is a mock alternative to the Spy's Revolver. Simply being a reskin, the weapon has no unique stats from its counterpart. The weapon was given to players who bought Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse within the first week of its release.
Damage
Since the Big Kill has no statistic changes over the Revolver, please see the Revolver page on damage statistics.
Trivia
- The actual Big Kill was about twice as large in the original comic books, often with the barrel bending under its own weight.
- Sam's gun was not referred to in the Sam & Max series as "Big Kill" until being listed under this name in the notebook in episode 3 of season 3, "They Stole Max's Brain!". Sam refers to it then as "My 2nd best and 3rd most dangerous friend".
- In the Telltale Episodes, the Big Kill actually has pinpoint accuracy. Sam, however, does not. (In Episode 304, he learns all along, "It turns out the secret is aiming!")
- Sam's Revolver is much too large to fit into his jacket, and is revealed in "They Stole Max's Brain!" to "squeeze" into a holster about half the size of the barrel.
- Although the Big Kill uses the Revolver's stats, the model itself is actually re-skin of the Ambassador, and also uses the Ambassador's animations.
- The weapon closely resembles the Smith & Wesson Model 29
- The kill icon for the Big Kill was originally the same as the Revolver. This was changed to its current kill icon in the July 8, 2010 patch.
- The Big Kill is one of the only three loadout weapons that can not be crafted. The other two are the Lugermorph and the Golden Wrench.
