Item sets, depending on the set, may apply new attributes to the wearer when all the items in a set are equipped, altering the role of the class slightly. The Soldier has several item sets, all of which are listed below.

	Black Box Battalion's Backup Grenadier's Softcap
Effect	Leave a Calling Card on your victims

• Primary – Black Box: On Hit: +15 health; -25% clip size.
• Secondary – Battalion's Backup: Provides a defensive buff that protects nearby team members from Crits and blocks 35% of incoming damage. Rage increases through damage taken.
• Headwear – Grenadier's Softcap: A headwear item for the Soldier.

• Secondary – Mantreads: -75% reduction in push force taken from damage; Deals 3x falling damage to the player you land on
• Melee – Disciplinary Action: On hit ally: boosts both players' speed for several seconds; -25% damage penalty

Trivia

• The Tin Soldier set shown on the Very Scary Halloween update page depicts the Soldier with a flyswatter equipped, though no flyswatter weapon exists in the final set. There is, however, an unused kill icon for it in the game files.
