Burly Beer is an unlockable secondary weapon item for the Engineer class. It is a bottle of beer, known as Red Shed Beer and Blue Streak Beer to the RED and BLU teams respectively.
Upon consumption, it gives the Engineer the ability to deal Mini-Crits level with any equipped weapon and his Sentry Gun, any incoming damage is becomes Mini-Crit damage, and the user cannot be healed. The effect lasts 8 seconds.

Bugs
- If a Medic ÜberCharges an Engineer who then drinks the Burly Beer, the user will be infinitely charged.
- By touching the Resupply Cabinet while under the effects, the user can recharge the Beer; This allows you to continuously have the Beer in effect.
Trivia
- Meet the Engineer was actually an advertisement for Blu Streak Beer; The Engineer is actually a Spy in the scene.
- Burly is a terrible pun on the barley grain, one of the main ingredients in beer.
- The console cheat "addcond 31 15" lets you use this weapon's effect for 15 seconds to an extent; The user doesn't take mini-crits with this enabled.
