The Big Country is a community-created cosmetic item for the Engineer. It gives the Engineer a blond mullet.
This item has two styles, named "Nelson" and "Brooks". The "Nelson" style removes the Engineer's default hardhat, while the "Brooks" style keeps it.
The Big Country was later contributed to the Steam Workshop, at Valve's request.

Trivia
- The item's name is a reference to the 1958 movie The Big Country.
- The styles reference the two country music superstars Willie Nelson (known for his long hair, in opposition to many other country musicians of his time) and Garth Brooks (who frequently wears cowboy hats).
