The Goldrush Update, also referred to as the Medic Update, is a patch for the Medic, the first class to have a major content pack released, as well as the release of the Payload gamemode and the release of the Team Fortress 2 Character Info and Loadout system, allowing players to equip different Primary, Secondary, and Melee weapons. Trivia
- Soon after the update, players could use console commands to automatically unlock all of the Medic Weapons without unlocking any achievements. This was soon patched out.
- The Blutsauger originally had "no critical hits" as it's negative attribute.
- The Kritzkrieg initially charged only 10% faster than the Medigun.
- The Ubersaw was previously only unlocked after completing all 39 Medic achievements.
