- Added 35 Soldier achievements.
- Fixed the Ride of the Valkartie Soldier achievement being earned by Soldiers on the defending team.
September 30, 2010 Patch (Mann-Conomy Update)
- Geneva Contravention changed from 5 to 3.
June 18, 2014 Patch (Love & War Update)
- [Undocumented] Added 5 more Soldier achievements.[1]
Notes
- The Geneva Contravention achievement icon currently displays a 5 instead of a 3, due to the achievement's original requirements.
Trivia

- The Project Excelsior achievement requires 1644825.6 Hammer units which is 1827 times the length of the 2Fort bridge.
Bugs
- The Death from Above and Duty Bound achievements can be obtained by being launched into the air by enemy explosives instead of rocket-jumping.
- The Death from Above achievement can also be earned by killing two enemies with the Soldier's Grenade taunt.
- Despite the description, the Geneva Contravention achievement doesn't require the enemies to be defenseless. The achievement can be obtained by killing players on the winning team.
- The Worth a Thousand Words achievement can be obtained by using any Special taunt, such as the High Five, as long as the player's Shotgun is deployed.
- The S*M*A*S*H and Frags of our Fathers achievements cannot be obtained if the player has disabled gibs (
tf_playergib 0), even if the criteria needed to gib someone is met.
