Szpieg specjalizuje się w oszustwach i wyróżnia się, w karaniu błędów popełnionych przez przeciwnika. Mimo to że jest on delikatny oraz posiada jedne ze słabszych broni w grze, potrafi on dźgnąć w plecy przeciwnika oraz zaminować budowle Inżyniera. Ponadto, posiada zdolność przejrzenia nazwy i poziom zdrowia, dzięki czemu potrafi efektywnie wyeliminować osłabionych wrogów dzięki jego Rewolwerowi. Szpieg najczęściej operuje za liniami wroga , używając niewidzialności oraz przebierania aby pozostać niezauważonym. Może się ukrywać w bazie przeciwników oraz wtopić się w otoczenie, lecz łatwo może być zdemaskowany przez różne metody, wkluczając w to podpalenie przez Pyro , odkryty przez Sikwondo albo poprzez przypadkowe zderzenie z przeciwnikiem. Dzięki przebiegłości oraz efektywnego korzystania z jego narzędzi , dobry Szpieg może swobodnie uniknąć zwrócenia uwagi.

Mimo że są słabsze od podstawowych broni, Rewolwer jest bardzo dokładny jeżeli chcesz wyeliminować osłabionych przeciwników z dystansu. Zdarzają się takie sytuacje gdy zawiedziemy podczas dźgnięcia w plecy, brak możliwości bezpiecznego zajścia przeciwnika, albo kiedy Snajper nosi przy sobie Antyklingę wtedy wybieramy broń podstawową.

Ambasador

Używaj Ambasadora jeżeli jesteś na Ty ze swoją umiejętnością celowania. Możliwość trafienia w głowę pozwalają na szybkie zabicie wrogów w kilka strzałów. Istnieje przypadek gdy czasami strzał w głowę Ambasadorem nie powiedzie się , więc należy trzymać odstępy między atakiem.

L'Etranger

L'Etranger to broń która konwertuje siłę ognia w "potencjalną energię ukrycia" która może posłużyć do bezpiecznego uzupełnienia energii niewidzialności na dystans. Idealnie pasuje z Peleryną Nożownika oraz Dzwonem Zmarłego.

Wzmocnione obrażenia Egzekutora są przydatne podczas pojedynków jeden na jednego. Przez zwiększony czas aktywacji Ukrycia , możesz być łatwo śledziony i zdemaskowany przez wroga. Efekty Egzekutora nie wpływają na Dzwon Zmarłego , ukrycie aktywuje się natychmiastowo po otrzymaniu obrażeń.

Diamondback

Diamondback obniża zadawane obrażenia i sprawia tę broń prawie bezradną podczas bezpośredniego spotkania z wrogiem. Gwarantowane Trafienia krytyczne otrzymane po zniszczeniu konstrukcji Inżyniera , zapewniają łatwiejszą ucieczkę z terenu wroga po szczęśliwym ataku. Współpracuj ze swoimi przyjaciółmi z drużyny aby upewnić się czy konstrukcje są do końca zniszczone, np. jeżeli Inżynier z przeciwnej drużyny, aktywnie ochrania swoje gniazdo budowli, po prostu zniszcz jego broń wartowniczą i szybko ucieknij podczas gdy reszta twojej drużyny wyburzy wszystkie jego konstrukcje. Dostaniesz dodatkowe trafienia krytyczne nawet kiedy budowla nie będzie do końca zniszczona przez twoją saperkę.
