The Grappling Hook is a default action item for all classes. It can be used to move yourself from one location to the next in the Mannpower game mode.

December 22, 2014 Patch (Smissmas 2014)

  • The Grappling Hook was added to the game.

December 23, 2014 Patch

  • Fixed disguised Spies using the incorrect grapple color.
  • Fixed the grapple still being connected to players after they die and respawn.
  • When hud_fastswitch is disabled, pressing the ACTION key will select the grappling hook in the weapon selection menu.

Notes

  • The attached Grapple uses the same model as the Crusader's Crossbow Syringe. It also uses the Crossbow's firing sound for its deployment.
  • The Grappling Hook negates fall damage.
  • The Grappling Hook deal 1 point damage, 2 point damage if it is a headshot.
