• Upon inspection, it plays the Pistol inspection animation, causing the Engineer to pull out a non-existent clip.

Trivia

• This item's name is a portmanteau of "Geiger counter", an instrument used for measuring ionizing radiation, and H. R. Giger, a surrealist artist who heavily influenced science fiction art and designed the Alien creature, among other things.
