Sniper taunts

The Sniper

Taunts are character-specific animations that can be manually triggered in-game. The Sniper has several taunts, all of which are listed below with applicable voicelines and a description of the animation. This does not include voice responses or voice commands.

Primary

The Sniper waves with a cocky smile and says:
"Bewdy!"

The Sniper removes the arrow from his bow, twirls it behind him, then stabs it forward fiercely while holding it for about a second, before bringing the arrow back to his bow again, killing the victim. While thrusting the arrow, the Sniper says:

"Stab, stab, stab!"

"Y'got blood on my knife, mate." (except for Saxxy)

Taunt Didgeridrongo.png Associated item Description
The Sniper pulls out a didgeridoo and spins it in his hand before sitting down and playing a tune, which continues until the player taunts again or jumps. The Sniper then stands up and compliments his performance.

The Sniper points two fingers towards his eyes, then points his finger outwards in the gesture of pointing at someone while saying:
"I see you, mate."

The Sniper takes out a saxophone and plays one of the tunes below:

The Sniper takes out a pad and a pen while saying:

Taunt Shooter's Stakeout.png Associated item Description
When the taunt is activated, a small brown tent appears, with binoculars and a thermal bottle. The Sniper sits in the tent, and looks through the binoculars, occasionally commenting on things in his sights, and drinking from the bottle. When the taunt is ended, the Sniper puts the objects away as the tent disappears.

A creature resembling a Bread monster partially comes out of the Sniper's chest. He looks at it in shock until the creature goes back inside, and then checks his chest and stomach before shivering.

The Sniper bounces in rhythm to the Latin beats and points both of his index fingers to the sky while occasionally kicking his feet out while saying:

"It's conga time in Oz!" (slang for Australia)
"Ay ee oom oom omph ah!"
"Headshot conga!"

Dancing to the Conga

The player will continuously move forward during this taunt, only being able to turn left and right.

Sniper Director.png Associated item Description
The Sniper puts his arms out and forms a square with his fingers, trying to visualize the scene in front of him in a frame or a screen.

Fist Bump Sniper.png Associated item Description
The Sniper punches the air with his right hand before turning sideways, extending his arm forward, and inviting others for a fist bump.

While waiting, he looks to the left and flicks his left hand while saying:

The Sniper then quickly stomps the ground while spinning to his left and shaking his hands before punching the other player's fist.

After a successful fist bump, he points at the other player and quickly pulls his hand back, imitating a gun recoiling from shooting, while saying:

"Bewdy!"
"Heh, heh, heh! Cheers, mate!"

Flippin Awesome Sniper.png Associated item Description
The Sniper bends down a bit and interlocks a few of his fingers to form a platform for another player to flip off of.

He then slightly bends his knees and calls the other player over to him with his fingers before slapping their hand. He then does a little punch in excitement of the successful high five.

Kazotsky Kick Sniper.png Associated item Description
The Sniper bends his knees and kicks forward while swinging his arms back and forth. Eventually he claps once, cracks his fingers, and shakes his hands on his sides.

Mannrobics Sniper.png Associated item Description
The Sniper goes through an aerobics routine with the option of a class-specific animation.

The Sniper jumps back, putting both hands out in front of himself, before crouching down and crossing an arm across his chest, lowering his head and gripping his hat with his other hand; he then exhales, stands up straight, and feels how fast his heart is racing.

Second Rate Sorcery Sniper.png Associated item Description
The Sniper takes out a staff with a skull on its top and a tag reading "99¢". He attempts to cast a Blast Jump spell with his left hand while kicking the ground, failing to create anything but green sparkles. He then angrily breaks the staff over his knee before returning to his original position.

Sniper Shred Alert taunt.png Associated item Description
The Sniper summons a guitar and plays an intense solo as flames and lightning spout from behind.

The Sniper reaches a hand out and taps his hat with the other hand while saying:

Sniper yetipunch.png Associated item Description
A wooden cutout of a Yeti appears in front of the Sniper. He looks at it from head to toe, holds his hand close to the cutout Yeti's head for a moment, and hits it with just his finger, which destroys the entire cutout. He then slaps his hands one against the other in a cleaning fashion.

Bugs

  • When taunting with a melee weapon, certain hats may not be taken off, instead remaining on the Sniper's head.
  • Sometimes no mouth animation is shown when taunting with the SMG.
