Bugs
- Similar to Bonk!, drinking a Crit-a-Cola with the Sandman equipped, removes the Scout's baseball. If the ball's recharge meter is full, it will go to zero, as if the ball had been launched. However, the ball will return as normal after the recharge is complete.
- Being hit by Natascha while drinking will interrupt the drinking process. This cancels the use, but still counts as consumption, and as such drains the recharge meter.
- The lines said by a Scout while under the effects of Crit-a-Cola are the same as his Bonk! Atomic Punch lines, despite their obviously different functions.
Trivia
- Crit-a-Cola was designed and created one day before its release.[1] Upon its release, it had the same model, texture, and particle effects as Bonk! Atomic Punch.
- The weapon's name is a play on popular soft-drink brand name 'Coca-Cola'. It also sounds like the word 'critical' spoken with unusual emphasis.
