The Cow Mangler 5000 1 - 100 This weapon does not require ammo. This weapon can fire a charged shot that mini-crits players and disables buildings for 4 sec. No random critical hits This weapon deals reduced damage to buildings.

The Cow Mangler 5000 is a Rocket Launcher for the Soldier.

The weapon has the ability to fire charged shots that deal mini-crits, as well as disable buildings for 4 seconds. However, it deals less damage to buildings, and it cannot fire random critical hits. The weapon does not use ammo. The weapon can be fired five times before the Soldier has to reload the weapon. The Soldier reloads the weapon via pumping a handle on the side of the weapon. Each pump reloads one charge. The player can press the right mouse button to charge the weapon. The Soldier can only charge a shot if the weapon has full energy (i.e. the Cow Mangler 5000 bar on the bottom right corner of the screen is full.) The weapon takes approximately 3 seconds to charge and the soldier moves slightly slower as he is charging the weapon. A charged shot can disable any Engineer's building for 4 seconds and deals mini-crits. However, a charged shot uses all of the stored energy of the weapon.

It cannot crit, even when forced to.

The weapon is part of The Victory Pack. According to the comic, the weapon was found by the RED  Soldier in a rocket that crash landed as well as the Righteous Bison.
