Knytnävara är det ordinarie närstrids vapnet för Tung Artillerist.
Gör betydande skada med mindre än normal hastighet. Knytnäverna är lämpliga när en motståndare är på nära avstånd och kanske när Minigun har slut på ammo. Alternativt så kan knytnävar användas när man inte har tid för att spinna up sin minigun. När Tung Artillerist dör när han använder sina knytnävar. Då tappar han sin Minigun. Som kan plockas up för ammunition.
By default, the primary fire key throws a left-handed punch, while the secondary fire key throws a right-handed punch; this has no effect on gameplay, as both fists have the same speed, same hitbox, and do the same damage if and when they make contact. Critical hit punches appear as a right-handed uppercut animation no matter which button was pressed.
Taunting with the Fists equipped will perform the Showdown taunt attack.

Update history
- The Showdown taunt now kills those in front of the Heavy.
- [Odokumenterad] The Fists were given a new kill icon. The previous kill icon is assigned to the Killing Gloves of Boxing.
- Fixed being able to alt-fire with the fists while stunned.
- Fixed the Heavy's punches not matching mouse button presses when the view models are flipped
- Fixed the Heavy's fists being hidden while taunting.
- Fixed the Heavy's fists not playing the critical hit animation.
- Fixed melee attacks not destroying remote detonation pipes (Stickybombs).
- Added new community contributed response rules to this weapon.
Bugs
- The colors of the Heavy's fingerless gloves are different in the world and view model. In the view model, the gloves are colored dark gray, but in the world view, the gloves are a dark shade of brown.
- It is possible to perform melee attacks while stunned by the Sandman's ball. The secondary fire will continue to deliver right-handed punches, albeit with no animation.
Trivia
- The bucket icon for the Fists have RED or BLU gloves depending on what team the Heavy is on, showing that sometime in the beta the Heavy had team-colored gloves.
