And that is how you do it, men!
The Soldier teaching his team how to rocket jump

The Rocket Jumper is a training primary weapon for the Soldier. Similar in appearance to the Rocket Launcher, it features an orange-painted blast shield and exhaust with white stripes, and lacks a front iron-sight.

As a training item, the Rocket Jumper fires completely harmless rockets, allowing players to freely practice rocket jumping techniques. The ammo count for the weapon is also tripled, giving the user forty extra rockets to use. The user is still vulnerable to self-damage from fall damage. While in midair via a Rocket Jumper rocket jump, a "flying sound" will play, acknowledging the player's success. In addition, the lack of self-inflicted blast damage allows the Soldier to perform the Kamikaze taunt without gibbing himself. However, players equipped with this weapon are unable to carry the intelligence or the Australium briefcase in Special Delivery.
