La campaña Gun Mettle es un evento de tres meses introducido en la actualización Gun Mettle en la que los jugadores tendrán que completar misiones para recibir recompensas, como armas y cajas exclusivas. Para participar es necesario comprar un Pase de la Campaña Gun Mettle. Con el pase de la campaña conseguirás una Gravel Gun Mettle Campaign Coin. Este pase no estuvo a la venta durante la última semana del evento.

Contratos

Participating players are granted two contracts each week during the event. These contracts can be completed anytime during the event but must be completed before the event ends. Players who join the Campaign after the initial week will have access to the same number of contracts as players who joined on day one.

Each contract sets a number of skill-based challenges the player can do to earn Contract Points (CP). This includes one or more Advanced objectives that award Bonus CP. To complete a contract a player must earn 100 CP from that contract's objectives. They can then turn in the contract immediately or earn an optional 30 Bonus CP by completing Advanced objectives. When a contract is completed the player is awarded a Campaign-exclusive weapon or weapons case. The contract's CP is also added to the player's total CP on their Campaign Coin.

When decoding a Contract while connected to an officially registered server, players will hear one of Miss Pauling's voice responses offering a new Contract based on the currently played class. Completing a contract will also yield another response.

The in-game HUD displays information about your active contracts. This includes your number of active contracts, the CP progression of each contract, and each contract's objectives and CP value.

Notas

  • All assists count as kills, with the exception of Sentry Gun kills.
  • Medic's advanced objectives require Medi Gun's ÜberCharge. Kritzkrieg, Quick-Fix, and Vaccinator can't achieve them.
  • Objectives trigger multiple times in a single life if the requirements are met a second time. For example, getting 10 kills in one life will count a "get 5 kills in one life" objective twice.

Moneda de la campaña

Upon entering the Campaign a player is given a Gravel Gun Mettle Campaign Coin. This non-tradable coin makes the player eligible to receive weekly campaign contracts. It also tracks the player's total Campaign Contract Points (CP), Contract Bonus Points, Contracts Completed, and Contract Kills. The badge will increase in quality for every 1000 CP earned during the event.

Armas de la campaña

Cada contrato completado por el jugador, le otorgará un arma exclusiva de la campaña o una caja de armas. Estas armas funcionan de manera idéntica a las armas por defecto, con la única diferencia de estar decoradas con un patrón único. Al recibir una de estas armas, patrones estándard se le colocan de manera única para diferenciar el arma de las otras. Las armas también pueden venir en seis raridades distinas y cinco niveles de uso. Las armas provenientes de cajas pueden ser de aspecto raro, de aspecto inusual, o tener estos dos aspectos a la vez.

Colección Teufort

La Colección Teufort es una de las dos colecciones de decoraciones de armas disponibles por completar contratos de Gun Mettle. Sus diseños se basan en las diversas texturas encontradas en 2Fort, tales como planchas de madera, placas de metal y tierra.

Colección Manntesanal

La Colección Manntesanal es la segunda colección disponible por completar contratos Gun Mettle. Sus diseños se basan en proyectos de tipo "Hágalo usted mismo", haciendo parecer que las armas estén hechas de materiales artesanales. Las armas decoradas con un diseño tartán tendrán el color del equipo.

Colección del Asesino Oculto

La Colección del Asesino Oculto es una de las dos colecciones que sólo están disponibles abriendo cajas de armas obtenidas durante la campaña Gun Mettle. Para obtener un arma de esta colección, los jugadores deben abrir una Caja de Armas del Asesino Oculto. Sus diseños se centran en camuflajes militares.

Colección Powerhouse

La Colección Powerhouse es la segunda colección que sólo está disponible al abrir cajas de armas de Gun Mettle. Para obtener un arma de esta colección, los jugadores deben abrir una Caja de Armas de Powerhouse. Sus diseños se basan en patrones brillantes, que parecen electricidad y logos de centrales eléctricas, algunas de ellas relacionadas con el mapa Powerhouse.

Aspectos

Weapons awarded during the Gun Mettle Campaign are of one of six different rarities. Weapons awarded for completed a contract are from the first four grades. Weapons obtained by unlocking weapons crates are from grades 3-6.
