The Tide Turner is a secondary weapon for the Demoman introduced in the Love & War Update. It is a worn-down ship steering wheel that functions similarly to the Chargin' Targe. It also gives full turning control while charging and any kills obtained while charging will replenish the charge meter. However, killing someone with the charge and not a melee weapon will not fill the charge meter. Just like the Demoman's other shields, it provides some resistance to fire and explosives.
The Tide Turner was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the name "The Wheel of Misfortune".
