The Holy Mackerel is an unlockable replacement for the Scout's Bat and is part of the Polycount Update. It appears as a fish with wrapping shaped for easy handling. It has no attributes that differ from the Scout's regular bat.
Being slapped by a fish is so humiliating that the kill feed records every connecting swipe, displaying a number corresponding to the number of hits made (so hitting an enemy three times will display a "x3"). Having one's health completely drained by an invertebrate is even more morally depleting, such that the kill feed will proudly proclaim "FISH KILL" every time.
