Performing the taunt does contribute to the ÜberCharge meter.

Trivia
- This taunt was originally designed for the Medigun. It was speculated to have been removed to avoid drug references, but was eventually re-added for the Kritzkrieg.
- It is speculated that the inhale animation is a reference to marijuana in water pipes, but looking at the background of The Medic, it is more likely a reference to the smelling of brews during the Oktoberfest celebrations in Germany.
- Prior to the comeback, there was a sound file, "Ha ha ha, Oktoberfest!" that accompanied the taunt, but both were disabled when it was speculated that the taunt was a drug reference. Even though the taunt was restored, the sound was not included, though it is still in the game files. From a logical perspective, it would be difficult to breathe in and shout at the same time.
