"Hold still, Schweinhunds, this will only sting for a moment."
The Medic on long-range injections

The Crusader's Crossbow is a primary weapon for the Medic, replacing the Syringe Gun. It appears as a crossbow with a metal barrel attached to a canister with the Medic's cross emblem on it. Similar to the Huntsman, this weapon can shoot arrows that travel in a slight arch with a team-colored trail behind it. Unlike the Huntsman however, it requires no charging up (though it is slow to reload) and can shoot arrows into both teammates and enemies, healing team members and hurting enemies. Damage healed/inflicted is based on distance traveled, and unlike every other weapon in the game, the damage done by it's projectiles increases with distance, rather than decreases.

This item is part of the Medieval Medic set.
