Engineer taunts

Taunts are character-specific animations that can be manually triggered in-game. The Engineer has several taunts, all of which are listed below with applicable voicelines and a description of the animation. This does not include voice responses or voice commands.

	Dueling Banjo	A haystack appears behind the Engineer while he pulls out a banjo; he then sits down and begins playing it. Pressing MOUSE2 makes the Engineer play faster, causing smoke to come out of his hands; pressing MOUSE1 makes him return to normal speed. 	Jumping Jack	The Engineer pulls a jackhammer out of his tool pocket and rides on it. When ending the taunt, the Engineer jumps off it and puts it back in his tool pocket. While riding, the jackhammer makes a loud noise and creates a smoke trail. The player can freely move around during this taunt.

	Rancho Relaxo	The Engineer unfolds a toolbox, which contains a lawn chair, a small umbrella, and several beer bottles. He then sits down, drinks beer, belches, and occasionally says: [glugging, smacks lips] [Burps] [glugging] "Ahhh!" [loud slurp] [Belch] "Ooh, mmmh that's good!" "Ahhhh!" [gluggin] "Aaaah, life of Riley! Mmm." (See: living "The life of Riley") When the player ends the taunt, the Engineer stands back up and the chair folds itself back into a toolbox. 	Texas Truckin'	The Engineer drives a miniature farm truck around, occasionally saluting and looking around. The player continuously moves forward during this taunt, only being able to turn left and right.

	Texas Twirl 'Em	The Engineer pulls out a team-colored lasso and twirls it around. He jumps through the loop, spins it around himself, steps inside the loop as he avoids the rest of the rope a few times, then twirls it up around himself before throwing it onto the ground.

	Burstchester	A creature resembling a Bread monster partially comes out of the Engineer's chest; he just looks at it, perplexed. When he is done drinking, he looks at the bottle for a moment before tossing it back over his shoulder.

	Director's Vision	The Engineer puts his arms out and forms a square with his fingers, trying to visualize the scene in front of him in a frame or a screen.

	Fist Bump	The Engineer closes his right hand into a fist and slaps it twice before extending his right arm forward and inviting others for a fist bump. Intro "Come on, now!" While waiting, he moves his left hand's fingers in anticipation and then looks right and left as he says: "Who's with me?!" "Let's go..." The Engineer then slaps his thighs and claps his hands before punching the other player's fist. Bumping "Mmmmmhmmmn!" After a successful fist bump, he raises his left hand, closes it into a fist, and pumps it down twice while cheering.

	Flippin' Awesome	The Engineer bends his knees slightly with his hands interlocked to form a platform for players to flip themselves off. If he is being flipped, he performs a somersault in mid-air. Eventually he swings both fists, claps once, swings both fists three more times, and puts his right fist back on his hip. The player can freely move around, albeit slowly, during this taunt.

He slightly tilts his head forward and to the side as he covers his face with both hands and begins to cry. He then leans back a bit before punching the air in front of him and voicing his disapproval.

	Second Rate Sorcery	The Engineer takes out a staff with a skull on its top and a tag reading "99¢" while dancing in place. He attempts to cast a Shadow Leap spell with the staff, failing to create anything but green sparkles. He gives the staff a quick look and then shrugs while grumbling before putting it away.

He then leans forward while putting his right hand close to his chin, looks both sides, and returns to his original position while laughing. 	Yeti Smash	The Engineer turns into a Yeti, beats his chest while roaring, and slams the ground with his fist; he then turns back to normal and slaps his right knee while standing back up. 	Neck Snap	The Engineer puts both fists on his hips, saying "all right," before approaching the Soldier and having his head grabbed, as he says "let's go!" The Soldier then snaps the Engineer's neck, eliciting a pained exertion, and causing his head to turn 180° before his body follows, causing the Engineer to spin over 360° total. When he's done spinning, he rubs his neck with his head down, saying "yeah!" He then gives the Soldier a thumbs up, and shakes off the pain while saying "whoo!"
