Das Basar-Schnäppchen ist eine Primärwaffe für den Sniper. Es handelt sich um ein langes, kunstvoll geschnitztes Gewehr mit gebogenem Griff und goldenen Zierelementen.
Das Basar-Schnäppchen hat eine um 20% verringerte Aufladerate. Jeder erfolgreiche Kopfschuss erhöht die Aufladerate des folgenden Schusses um 10%. Treffer, die keine Kopfschüsse sind, verlängern die Aufladezeit wieder und Schüsse, die ganz verfehlen, setzen den Bonus vollständig zurück. Der maximale Bonus liegt bei einer 30% schnelleren Aufladerate nach 5 aufeinanderfolgenden Kopfschüssen.
Diese Waffe wurde zuvor in der Team Fortress 2 Beta unter dem Namen Beta Sniper Rifle 1 getestet.

- Bonus structure changed

- The charge rate now resets to default upon death
- The charge rate is now unaffected by shots fired while unzoomed
