Demoman'en, rigtige navn er Tavish DeGroot, er en fuld scrumpy drikkende nedrivnings ekspert fra det skotske højland, og er en de mest alsidige medlemmer af holdet. Selvom hans våben ikke er specielt nøjagtige ved længere afstande, er Demoman'en yderst kraftfuld og hans uforudsigelighed gør at han kan klare sig selv i stort set hvilken som helst situation. - Både Heavy og Demoman er stemme-skuespillet af Gary Schwartz.
- Demomanen er født i en klan af skotske Demomen hvis motto er "In regione caecorum rex est luscus", hvilket groft oversættes til "I det rige af blinde, er den en-øjede konge." Ifølge hans mor havde hans far mistet begge sine øjne inden han var 30, og forbiholdt 26 jobs indtil den dag han døde.
