The Amputator is a melee weapon for the Medic and was released as part of the Medieval Medic set. It appears as a saw with angular edges and a distinct handle. When players taunt with the Amputator, a Medicating Melody is produced, and all nearby teammates are healed.

Trivia
- Template:W, the surgical removal of one or more body parts, was a common medical practice since the early 17th century, especially on the battlefield where injuries and diseases such as gangrene were rampant. Its use sharply declined in the 1950s when medicine was able to save a patient more than amputation from diseases, and is now only performed in extreme cases.
- The model of the Amputator is based on the modern day hand saw used to cut wood. Most medical saws used in Amputation procedures are similar in design to the hack saw
