Upon taunting with the Kritzkrieg equipped, the Medic puts his face to the barrel of his weapon and inhales deeply before returning to work.
Performing the taunt will heal the Medic for 11 health, discounting passive regeneration. This does not contribute to the ÜberCharge meter but will count towards the total healing displayed on the scoreboard. It is possible to heal an ally while performing this taunt if the player has selected the 'Medi Gun heal after release' in Multiplayer options. The taunt proves invaluable when the player is taking passive damage such as fire or bleeding, or when natural health regeneration is too slow.
The Oktoberfest taunt can be used during Humiliation and Stalemates.

Update history
- Added a new taunt for the Kritzkrieg, which also heals for 10 points.
[Unknown Date]
- The taunt and its accompanying voice clip are disabled.
- The taunt is reinstated but the sound is not included. It was speculated that the sound was removed due to being perceived as a drug reference. From a logical perspective, it would be difficult to breathe in and shout at the same time.
May 5, 2011 Patch (Replay Update)
- [Undocumented] Added community contributed voice responses.
Trivia
- This taunt was originally designed for the Medi Gun.[1] It was speculated to have been removed to avoid drug references, but was eventually re-added for the Kritzkrieg.
- The patch notes and in-game tips incorrectly state that the taunt heals 10 health, where community testing has determined that the Kritzkrieg actually heals 11 health (This is because of the fact that the Medic has the ability to regenerate health over time). [citation needed]
- Oktoberfest is an annual festival held in Munich in Germany.[2] It is well known for the wide variety of beers and food consumed for the days is runs.
