The Atomizer is a community-created melee weapon for the Scout. It is an aluminum bat with a black ribbed grip, and the Bonk! logo emblazoned on it surrounded by team-colored stripes and bands.
The Atomizer grants the wielder the ability to triple jump while holding the weapon. When performing a double or triple jump with the Atomizer equipped, a cloud of purple smoke will trail behind the Scout, as opposed to the normal white cloud. Also, while airborne, attacks with this weapon will mini-crit. As a downside, the Atomizer has a 50% deploy time penalty and deals 15% less damage to players. However, it will do the same amount of damage as the Bat to non-player objects such as buildings.
Taunting with the Atomizer equipped will perform the Home Run kill taunt.

October 20, 2017 Patch (Jungle Update)
- Changed attributes:
- Triple-jump is now only possible while the bat is deployed.
- Removed self-inflicted damage when triple-jumping.
- Removed attack speed penalty.
- Melee attacks done while airborne mini-crit.
- Added 50% deploy time penalty.
- Reduced damage penalty vs players to -15%.
Trivia
- The Atomizer was originally named The Atomic Punch.[1]
- The self-damage from a successful triple-jump is typed as bullet damage, so bullet damage resistance (such as what can be purchased from an Upgrade Station) reduces the self-damage accordingly. Bullet damage resistance does not reduce the potency of the third jump.
- As a result, healing the Scout with a Vaccinator set on bullet damage resistance can also reduce the damage from the third jump.
- This also means that when holding the Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol, the damage received from the jump is increased due to the +20% damage received attribute, thus resulting the damage taken being 12 instead of the usual 10.
