The Atomizer is a community-created melee weapon for the Scout. It is a slightly worn aluminum baseball bat, fitted with a black ribbed grip and team-colored stripes and bands; a Bonk! logo is emblazoned on the "barrel".
The Atomizer grants the wielder the ability to triple jump while the weapon is fully deployed. However, the Atomizer deploys 50% slower than the default Bat. As a triple jump does not initiate in the middle of the weapon's deploy animation, the Scout must wait for the Atomizer to fully deploy to take advantage of the triple jump. The deploy penalty leaves the Scout without long range damage options for longer, making him more vulnerable to enemy attacks.
