Cauldron is a community-made King of the Hill map released during the Scream Fortress 2018 update. It is a Halloween version of the custom map, Bagel.
Contents
Features
The point on this map features a large cauldron. When the point is captured, the cauldron erupts, and a random effect will trigger. These effects include:
- Portals to the Underworld opening up.
- A group of skeletons spawning.
- Fireballs raining out of the cauldron.
- Every player being granted crits.
Much like other Halloween maps, Cauldron has it's own Underworld. After escaping, players are granted with temporary invincibility.
Update history
October 19, 2018 Patch (Scream Fortress 2018)
- Added Cauldron to the game.
Trivia
- The flames under the cauldron will change color depending on which team is in control of the point.
- Several trains are hidden around the map, placed there by UEAKCrash.
- Deer cutouts can be found in mysterious locations, two of which are in completely sealed off rooms on either side of the map. The only way to access them is through use of noclip.
