Altitude is a 3CP attack/defend map set on the slopes of an abandoned ski resort. The layout features memorable set pieces and unique arenas with an emphasis on vertical combat.
Altitude publicity blurb

Altitude is a community-created Attack/Defend map released during the Smissmas 2021 update. It contains 3 control points that need to be taken over by BLU team to control the old Husky Acres ski resort. Upon capturing any point, several shortcuts open up to allow BLU team to maneuver on the front lines faster.

Altitude was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

Locations

Control Point A

Control Point A is located on a platform just outside of the Cliffe Rocks Inc. building.

  • Cliffs: The Cliffs are an elevated piece of ground located right outside of the BLU's spawn. On them is a small shed with a large Ammo and a medium Health pack
  • Cornerstone: Besides the Cliffs are a group of boulders in which one of the Cable Cars' pole is set. They provide good cover to the attackers advancing on the said Cliffs.
  • Warehouse: This square-shaped wooden building is a warehouse, and serves as a flank route behind Point A. BLU team spawns directly outside of it after capturing Point A.
  • Side Building: Opposite of the Warehouse is the Side Building. It acts as a flank route to the Cliffe Rocks Inc. building, behind the control point. This also acts as a secondary path to Point B after A is captured, via the Gated Shortcut.
  • Cliffe Rocks Inc.: A fairly complex building adjacent directly to Control Point A. It has two levels, with a dropdown in-between.

Control Point B

Control Point B can be found inside a large wooden hut, situated on the edge of a large cliff.

  • Valley: Leading out of the Cliffe Rocks Inc. is a muddy valley filled with many rocky boulders.
  • Gated Shortcut: A one-way gate which can only be opened from the inside of the Side Building of Point A. BLU's third and final spawn is located above it, on a balcony, opening after Point B is captured.
  • Triangular House: A comically triangular house can be seen standing besides the B Hut.
  • Water Tower: Right across from the Gated Shortcut is a wooden water tower. There are also some catwalks encircling it, which can be stood on.
  • B Hut: The large structure which houses the entirety of Point B. There are entrances located on the roof of the building, a sloping hill leading to the front entrance, and a basement that travels under the point.

Control Point C

Control Point C, and its surrounding area, is completely encompassed inside the Cable Cars' terminal.

  • Server Room: The central room of the aforementioned terminal. RED team's first spawn is located on the upper level, closing after Point B is captured.
  • Lift Controls: The final objective for BLU team to capture, set under the Cable Cars' tracks near its controls.
  • Cliff Face: The wide Cliff Face outside of the Server room, housing a large health kit, and a spawn exit for RED team.
  • RED Spawn: RED's final spawn room located behind the control point, with two exits on the lower floor and one of the upper floor.
