Slasher is a Halloween-themed community-made King of the Hill map released during the Scream Fortress 2018 update. It is set in a haunted campground.
Contents
Features
The map features a rotation of all the Halloween bosses, including Ghosts, the Horseless Headless Horsemann, MONOCULUS, Merasmus, and Skeletons. The map also features two pits of death and a large Underworld.
The Underworld can be accessed at any time through a portal in a cabin near the point. Making it to the end of the Underworld grants the player temporary crits. The Underworld can also be accessed while fighting MONOCULUS, and if done, the player will spawn further ahead in it. A large amount of the map's health kits are located in the Underworld, due to it's size.
Like many other Halloween maps, magic spells are littered around the map.
Update history
October 19, 2018 Patch (Scream Fortress 2018)
- Added Slasher to the game.
- Fixed the clipping issues in the spawn yards and in BLU's mineshaft.
- Fixed a case where the control point is unlocked while Merasmus is hiding.
