The Scout on weaponized confectioneries

The Candy Cane is an unlockable melee weapon for the Scout. As the name suggests, it is an oversized team-colored candy cane with a team-colored bow wrapped around it. It has the same basic damage stats as the regular Bat, though when it is equipped, enemies drop small health packs when killed, regardless whether or not they were killed via the Candy Cane. However, when carrying the Candy Cane, the Scout receives 25% more damage from explosives, such as grenades and rockets.
