The Loose Cannon is a primary weapon for the Demoman. It resembles a pirate-style cannon with a sight near the front of the barrel.

The Loose Cannon fires cannonball projectiles that travel at approximately 1065 Hammer units per second. These only detonate after a two second fuse burns, which can be controlled by holding fire; however, the cannonballs do not detonate upon impact, but instead inflict knockback. The cannonballs also cause 50% less damage upon contact with a surface, forcing careful timing and direct attacks over attacking around corners.

The Loose Cannon was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the same name.
