The Fortified Compound is a primary weapon for the Sniper. It is a black metallic compound bow. When equipped, the Sniper will carry arrows in a black quiver strapped to his back. The bow itself is identical to the bow Garrett, the main protagonist in Thief, uses.

It functions identically to the Huntsman.

This item is awarded in Genuine quality to players who purchase Thief on Steam before March 7, 2014.

Bugs

• The Fortified Compound does not currently have the Huntsman's Skewer taunt assigned to it. This has been confirmed to be fixed in an upcoming patch.

• The name of the item is a play on words. A compound is a group of buildings that is enclosed by a barrier, also a compound is a type of bow commonly used by hunters.
