The Legionaire's Lid is a scrapped community-created cosmetic item for the Soldier. It resembles the helmet of a Roman Legionaire, with a team-colored and paintable plumage.
The item's model, textures, and backpack icon were all found in the GCF files, but have since been removed, and the item is currently unavailable in-game. A similarly themed helmet, the Defiant Spartan, may have been implemented as opposed to this hat. The Legionaire's Lid's name and description can still be found in tf_english.txt.
