The Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol is a community-created secondary weapon for the Scout. It is a small, black pistol with a short barrel and light-colored wooden grips.
While the Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol is active, the player will be awarded up to 3 health points per enemy hit, depending on damage dealt (similar to the Black Box), and the weapon fires 15% faster than the Pistol. However, the clip size is 25% smaller, down to 9 shots per clip compared to the Pistol's 12 shots.
The Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

- The Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol was added to the game. The attributes were:
- +15% max health on wearer.
- Wearer never takes falling damage.
- 25% slower firing speed.
- 50% fire damage vulnerability on wearer.
- Added recoil forces for the Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol.
- [Undocumented] Added Collector's quality.
- [Undocumented] Added Strange quality.
- [Undocumented] Fixed the clip sticking out of the gun after reload.
July 2, 2015 Patch #1 (Gun Mettle Update)
- Changed attributes:
- Passive effects on the Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol are only in effect when the weapon is deployed.
- Removed +15 max health passive.
- Added up to +3 health per hit.
- Changed damage vulnerability from +50% fire to +20% all sources while active.
December 17, 2015 Patch (Tough Break Update)
- Changed attribute:
- Increased health recovered on hit from +3 to +5.
- Updated the model for the Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol to fix a problem with shading.
October 20, 2017 Patch (Jungle Inferno Update)
- Changed attributes:
- Increased firing speed by 15%.
- Player earns +7 hp per hit.
- Decreased clip size by 25%.
- Removed wearer never takes falling damage when active.
- Fixed the firing speed for the Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol (now faster).
- Fixed the Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol always giving 7 hp per-hit.
- Reduced maximum (close-range) per-hit heal amount to 3 (from 7).
Notes
- The attributes are listed as When weapon is active, despite all the attributes being effects relating to the weapon itself, and thus clearly only occurring when the weapon is active.
Trivia
- This weapon's name is a reference to Charles Arthur Floyd, nicknamed "Pretty Boy Floyd", a 1930s bank robber.
- The design is based off of the Colt 1908 Vest Pocket Pistol.
- The design is also similar to some concept art of the original stock Pistol.
- At 22 letters, the Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol has the second longest weapon name in the game, with the longest one being the Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker.
