The Diamondback is a promotional secondary weapon for the Spy. It is styled after the Diamond Back .357 revolver from Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Similarly to the Frontier Justice, the Diamondback has the ability to store up to 35 critical hits for later use but cannot deliver random crits. A potential critical hit is stored for each enemy building that is destroyed by the Spy's Sappers; the Spy does not have to earn credit for the destruction, the building simply needs to be destroyed while the Sapper is attached to it.

The Diamondback is a community-created promotional secondary weapon for the Spy. It is based on the Diamond Back .357 from the video game Deus Ex: Human Revolution; a futuristic metal Revolver with a black grip, front sight, and cylinder.

As a drawback, the weapon deals 15% less damage compared to the default Revolver. Any stored critical hits will be lost upon death and any buildings destroyed with the Spy's Sapper attached while he is dead will not grant any Crits to him upon respawn, Also any missed shots while having Crits in the meter will reduce the meter without dealing any damage to the opponent. No critical hits are stored for destroying Robots with the Sapper.

The Diamondback has the ability to store up to 35 critical hits for later use. One critical hit is stored for each enemy backstabbed, or for each building that is destroyed while being sapped (regardless of whether or not the Sapper is what actually destroys the building). However, any stored critical hits are lost upon death, and any buildings destroyed with the Spy's Sapper attached while he is dead do not grant any critical hits. In addition, the weapon's base damage is 15% lower than the Revolver, and it cannot roll for random critical hits. In Mann vs. Machine, sapped Robots do not grant critical hits upon their destruction, but can still be backstabbed to store a crit.

I murdered your toys as well.
The Spy gaining crits from sapped buildings

The Diamondback is a community-created promotional secondary weapon for the Spy. It is based on the Diamond Back .357 from the video game Deus Ex: Human Revolution; a futuristic metal Revolver with a black grip, front sight, and cylinder.

The Diamondback was awarded in Genuine quality to players who pre-purchased Deus Ex: Human Revolution on Steam before August 26, 2011.

The kill icon for the Diamondback was contributed by Ani .
