The Classic is a primary weapon for the Sniper. It is a rifle, based on the H&K G36, fitted with a longer barrel and a laser sight.

The Classic allows the player to charge their shot without having to be scoped, but the player will suffer a large amount of movement loss. It deals less damage on bodyshots, and can only headshot once fully charged. Unlike the other sniper rifles, it is charged by holding down the fire key (default: MOUSE1), followed by releasing it to fire the shot.

Players killed by this weapon will be gibbed and will also leave behind a cloud of red mist where the player was standing, which quickly fades away.

Bugs

  • The scope reticle appears to be non-functional when the game is running in DirectX 8 mode.
