Crit-a-Cola (in full, Bonk! Crit-a-Cola) is a secondary weapon for the Scout. It appears as a purple soda can from the Bonk! company, sporting the tagline "Manliness guaranteed!". Its name is a play on popular soft-drink brand name 'Coca-Cola'. The name also sounds like the word 'Critical' spoken with unusual emphasis.
When the drink is imbibed, it gives the Scout the ability to deal Mini-Crits for 6 seconds with any equipped weapon. However, Mini-Crits can also be inflicted against the Scout by any enemy during this duration. This weapon is therefore better suited for competent players who can avoid taking fire while dealing considerable damage to opponents.

None. Gives the drinker Mini-Crits for the next 6 seconds.
Drinker also receives Mini-Crit damage during the effect.
Function times
- Drinking: 1.2 seconds (Interruptible)
- Buff Duration: 6 seconds
- Crit-a-Cola Recharge Time: 24 seconds (after effect wears off)

Previous Changes
- The "Retire the Runner" achievement is reconfigured to apply to the weapon.
- The weapon now spills purple liquid when selected, as opposed to the green liquid of Bonk! Atomic Punch.
Bugs
- Similar to Bonk!, drinking a Crit-a-Cola with the Sandman equipped removes the Scout's baseball. If the ball's recharge meter is full, the recharge meter goes to 0 as if the ball had been launched. However, the ball will return as normal after the recharge is complete.
- Being hit by Natascha while drinking will interrupt the drinking process. This cancels the use, but still counts as consumption, and as such drains the recharge meter.
- The lines said by a Scout while under the effects of Crit-a-Cola are the same as his Bonk! Atomic Punch lines, despite their obviously different functions.
- Despite Bonk! no longer defaulting to the Scout's melee weapon upon consumption, Crit-a-Cola will still switch to a melee weapon when used.
Trivia
- Crit-a-Cola was designed and created one day before it was released.[1] Upon its release, it had the same model, texture, and particle effects as Bonk! Atomic Punch.
