Delinquents all over the country have been harassing old ladies while you were stuck in your nearby generic desert-industrial environment. You missed out on all the extreme elderly-pestering action! No worries, though! With this handmade bat, you can still vent your frustration elsewhere.
— Fancy Vs. Nasty update description

The Boston Basher is a melee weapon for the Scout. It appears as a bloodstained wooden club covered with spikes and reinforced with metal rings.

This weapon will inflict a five-second Bleed effect upon hitting an enemy. Missing the hit, however, will cause it to apply the damage and bleed effect to the player instead. Careful precision is therefore required when attacking up close, particularly with the added risk from the Scout's movement speed.

The self damage effect is not applied if the player hits any solid object such as a wall, floor or prop. Hitting a teammate, on the other hand, will apply the self damage, making this weapon a risky choice for spychecking. Missing with a Critical swing will cause the Critical hit sound effect, though only normal damage will be inflicted. When swinging the weapon in midair, the damage inflicts slight upwards knockback, allowing for extra jumps at the expense of health.
