Overall Changes
  • Server Browser changed to simplified by default.
  • Added the ability to join friends already in a Casual Match.
  • Added the ability to vote to extend the map, change level, Scramble Teams and enable/disable All Talk in Casual.
  • Added the ability to join non-valve vanilla or vanilla-esk TF2 servers through Casual. Disabled by default.

Requirements for a non-valve server:

    • sv_cheats must be off, Friendly fire must be disabled.
    • maxplayers must be between 12 and 36.
    • Highlander mode must be disabled.
    • VAC must be enabled.
    • The server must not require a password.
    • No messing with the MotD.
    • No selling of gameplay advantages.
    • The server must not attempt to disguise its Bots as human players, as in giving the bots a ping and/or custom avatar on the scoreboard.
  • Removed Competitive matchmaking.
  • Updated default settings.
  • Replaced "Disable Sprays" with "Unblock Sprays and Decals" in settings.
  • Random critical hits are now disabled by default.
  • Random bullet spread is now disabled by default.
  • Random fall damage deviation is now disabled by default.
  • Random Bullet spread toggle now applies to non-pellet hitscan weapons.
  • Placing the crosshair over a friendly Engineer as any class now shows how much metal that Engineer currently has.
  • Health UI displays affect health with the damage resistance/damage vulnerability you currently have shown right above your health UI and actual health you currently have shown right above your health number UI.
  • "Pass to me!" voice command replaced with "Sniper!" on all classes.
  • Removed Uber building at full rates when healing targets with overheal penalties.
  • Reworked spawning wallhacks to only show objective and teammates surrounding objective.
  • Melee strikes now pierce teammates.

Medieval Mode

Medieval Mode changes
  • Updated Medieval Mode whitelist.
  • Engineers can now build dispensers, teleporters, speed pads and jump pads in Medieval.
  • All melee weapons except for knives, wrenches, and bats while not having a primary or secondary equipped can store a melee crit. Crits meter starts empty but increases with time (20s) and damage taken (300). Press 'alt-fire' to use your critical melee swing.
  • All melee weapons while not having a primary or secondary equipped, give a 10% damage bonus and 10% faster swing speed for each successive hit. This is lost upon 3s without getting a hit. Wrenches gain successive hit bonus with swings on their own buildings.
  • Added Morrigan Alley, Burghausen, Helm's Deep, Ye Olde and Carribbean to the map pool.
